- Whilst I wish we were getting money for him, El Ghazi has done nothing in recent times to command a fee for us tbh.
I wish him well but he's just not very good unfortunately, as highlighted on Monday when his arrival signalled the end of all attacking threat from us.

- Whilst I strongly believe he's not good enough for us anymore, I don't think its an unfair price. He's not that bad, just if he knew when to pass and when to shoot then he'd be half decent.

Just a short loan, so not as great a deal. Only positive is he can't play against us next week.

TBH I would have preferred he played against us.

- Wish him well. Good player but to inconsistent, can be lethal but can be equally frustrating.

It’s ‘kin embarrassing isn’t it. We’re a laughing stock. That’s not fair, we were that already…we’re more of a laughing stock.

Re this lad, 5 months with no obligation isn’t Iwobi levels of terrible, fair enough. If he gets games over Gordon or brought on instead of Dobbin it’ll be annoying. There’s also the concern that he’ll try his arse off for a permanent move and then come the summer we spend money to make it permanent and we’re lumbered with another average nothing winger for 3 years until his contract runs out.

Nothing would surprise me.

The Townsend story is there to destabilise Benitez, created and spread by people who've spat their dummies out.

It's not happening.

It sounds like 2+2=5 stuff.

If we got Bernard out there'd be no way we'd land ourselves with a dud like Townsend. Any savings will be going toward a right sided winger.

I agree, I too have seen just about every game we have played since he joined us and ElGhazi is a left sided player. Yes he can play on the right but he is definitely a left sided player.
