I thought Aconcagua was in South America??
I have limited spare time as I've youngsters and run my own business from home. Grow stuff in the garden (it's been a good year for beans. Me courgettes got the lurgy though.) I even make chutney from the surplus so I can do boring too...

But my main thing is running - I'm aiming to run a marathon every year from my 50th birthday until I'm 60. I'm about to run my fourth in two weeks from Salisbury to Winchester to raise money for Africa. Do all my training runs alone in the Oxfordshire countryside where I live. My dog's usually with me but she's broken a bone in her paw and is on six weeks no walkies. Would take my private pilot's license if I could afford it and take up scuba - maybe when the children are grown up...

It is mate....nearest civilzation is Mendoza in Argentina....you fly in to Santiago in Chile then take a short hop across to mendoza and from there its a 3 day hike to base camp at 17000 ft.

Good luck with the marathons, sounds like a punishing regime over the next 10 years!

Thanks...time consuming yes...but great fun. To run is to live...(Emile Zatopec)

Cruel sport :)
I can't bare to think of the pain that a hook in the mouth, whilst being dragged through the water, often for hours with big fish causes.
Evil I say. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil !!!!!!! :D
You're right though! I grew up loving fishing above all else but now I only go sea fishing, so I can eat what I catch & not feel bad about it :)

Bike Restoration:

My restored 1974 RD350A complete with front number plate and original dealer logo on front mudguard. I’ve had this bike since I was 21, grown old together! Bought it off my father in-law in 1978 for about £250, think he paid a new price of around £500 Now on it’s a third piston set, father in-law blew one set I blew the other( bit of a bad boy’s bike in its heyday)

Mothballed back in 1981, around the time my first daughter was born. Started restore in 2004 and had it back on the road during 2006

Back in the garage now but going to spend some more money and time over the winter months and finish off the restoration, also need to sort out a few problems.

I'm in the watches thing.

Just bought a new movement to fit on a bought case. Still designing the dial.

At the end, I hope to be able to assemble it.
