People saying appoint Unsy full time off the back of a 2-1 loss. Weird behaviour and it's annoying me.

This is a really good job for a top manager. If Unsy wants this then he needs to win. He'll know this himself and wouldn't want it based on defeats. If he wins lots of games he'll get it and he'll have deserved it. But until then people need to raise their expectations and not be so small time.

So basically you're calling our fans small time if they're still backing Unsworth for the job after we'd narrowly lost at Chelsea?

Big difference between backing him and wanting appointed right now today on a full time basis. Anyone who thinks losing a game is an achievement worthy of being appointed Everton manager is indeed very small time.

I'd prefer a top manager comes in asap. Buy if he's gonna get a run here, I hope DU makes it very very difficult for the board to ignore him. To do that he needs wins. Way too much hysteria today about what was still a defeat.

Really think that it's the board who need to raise their expectations, if they were indeed paying Ronko £6 mill per yer. For me, Unsy (great name by the way) should get it until the end of the season. He is obviously capable of creating team spirit due to his work with the under 23's, that's all we need now. Season is a right off, has been since we bought who we bought in transfer window, re-group, string some results together, stay up (most important obviously) and then let's see how high this board under Moshiri want to aim.

Great post by the way Tim, you sound like you're now starting to make your own perceptive evaluations rather than just following the herd. Well done.
