Eternal optimist, even despite their "seventh heaven" show yesterday (if I see one more feckin' Facebook post with that in it I swear I'll punch the cat). Fingers crossed but expecting the worst. Reckon we might beat them in Jan though. ;)
Seeing our allocation for the game taking up all the Anny Road end puts me in mind of the Sunderland replay.
Away support magnificent that evening. We will out-shout the rats and win that.

I'm glad we won, just as I'm glad that we won the last two league games, but this stinks to high heaven. We've been utterly awful all season, under both Koeman and Unsworth, yet the moment Allardyce is all but confirmed we start playing like this squad should have been all year.

There's no way on earth he would have done much tactically in that time. I mean he wasn't even officially the manager for the first game and didn't travel to this one. It's also hard to reason that it's all down to confidence, because if experienced international players can have such a boost to their confidence in one week that they go from playing like League 1 players to their normal level then they need to ask questions of themselves.

There's just something about this miraculous transformation that doesn't sit right with me whatsoever.

Nothing to suggest it's anything to do with new management here mate. It's simple, last 3 games we've played West Ham and Huddersfield at home and a crap team from Cyprus away. Even as bad as we had been under Koeman, these are hardly 'shock' results.

Wonder about those games, easy as you infer how they would have gone under RK.

I'd like to congratulate the Arsenal fans who left the Emirates and were on the Victoria Line at 9pm this evening. Perhaps the reason the tube broke and everyone got annoyed is because you must have walked out of the ground at half time 3-0 up?

I've had a few Heverlee's tonight like but, let's feckin' show them in Jan. Win on Sunday, it's the least you deserve. ....and then be rubbished in Jan when your cup and league runs turn to rat sh1te.

Everton forever.
