I said before it was a communications issue. He may be an experienced local journalist, but he's a novice at handling a club like this which can be so volatile during a tumultuous period.

I have no regard for him, but someone like Myers would have binned any idea to release that statement on Saturday. If the board were advised to stay away there'd have been another story put forward for their absence.

For Bill, I think hes such a narcissist that him not being in charge of Everton means there should be no Everton. That's the only way I can rationalise the sabotage of the weekend.
