Are you mad? Chang have got our back broDepends where you are I reckon. In the UK probably not, just because of our history.
Abroad in places like south east Asia they probably are, they're the champions so will have far more TV coverage and general talk than us finishing in the bottom half and getting to a couple of semi finals. Fair play to them.
Is it joke? No, Everton is bigger than Leicester in many ways.
Of course, result of assessment (in this case - which club is bigger) is depend from definition (what does it mean "bigger") and indicators of assessment.
For me, assessment "how big" football club is including:
1. Social dimension:
- support / fanbase (not only actual numbers of fans, but also loyalty, attendances during whole history, including bad times)
- structure of fanbase
- form and intensity of support (there is a huge difference between local fan with season ticket, attending every home and away match + buying souvenirs from official shop and foreigner "fan" never attending match, buying fake souvenirs from cheap shop and just following club on internet).
- fans economic impact (amount of money bringing by supporters / fans)
- attractiveness (for general football public, for sponsors, TV...).
2. History:
- history (whole history of club - football exist from 19th century),
- achievements (not only trophies),
- way how club achieved trophies,
- other things how club contributed significantly to football / sport.
3. Economic dimension:
- economic power - current, during history
- economic stability (it´s easy throw money for a few season for achieving something and then be relegated (Leeds etc.)
etc. This indicators also we have to divide to min. 2 groups - history and nowadays.
In most of indicators Everton are bigger club.
Good grief.
I am sitting mesmerised by this.
Sky have just said Leicester are off to Thailand tomorrow.
Whilst there, they are having an open top bus tour around Bangkok....lol lol lol
The world as we knew it has gone mad, Block.....

I say this because today while shopping in the metro centre Newcastle I counted 6 kids in Leicester tops and no Everton tops in sight.
Now, before everyone gets angry and start giving me a history lesson I know in my life time I've seen Everton win more trophies than Leicester. But, if you look from the start of the Premiership we have won the FA cup while they have won the league and two league cups.
So they win the recent history and are now in the Champions league, something we haven't achieved in our history.
Turnover wise no doubt with winning the league and being in the Champions league next season they will surpass us in the financial stakes as well.
Fanwise is going to be a tough one but according to my older brother who lives in the far east he has commented on how big Leicester promote themselves ( club shop in Bangkok airport etc ) with them winning the league, they will have a new generation of supporters.
Of course they are not but what does it matter? They have won the league because they have a manager with more belief than Moyes and more pragmatic than Martinez. They are far from the biggest club but they are the champions. That means more than the size of the fanbase. Nothing but admiration for them. They are an example to everybody who thinks you have to spend big. Creating a team is the key and being scared of nobody.
