Are Leicester now a bigger club than us??

The fact that this thread exists says a lot.

Leicester are celebrating a league title and looking forward to a european campaign, whilst Everton fans are starting threads like this on the internet and arguing with Southampton fans.

Get. A. Grip.

@Moomin strikes again ;)

Moomin doesn't run a bait store.....but if he did it would be the best bait store in the world :pint2:

Fair enough mate and I respect your view but what I find with foreign people is that the biggest clubs are:
  1. Liverpool
  2. Man Utd
  3. Chelsea
  4. Arsenal
  5. Man City
  6. Spurs
  7. Leicester
  8. Newcastle
  9. West Ham
  10. Aston Villa
  11. Everton
And then the rest. Most foreign people just ask "who are Everton and where are they from?"

Foreign people get dead excited over Leicester The Foxes now.

Hurts deep but we know where we stand like.

I live in a foreign land and not one football fan has said that, OK when I say I am from Liverpool (I am not but it is easier to say than I was born here, grew up there and lived in Liverpool for more years than the other two but that is another story) they first say them lot but as soon as I say Everton they talk about us and know a few of the players.

Leicester is a massive story over here, even if they can't say it right but football fans know who we are.

What defines a 'big club' history, money, fan base, trophies? Well we tick all them boxes so yes we are a big club and a lot bigger than Leicester. As someone pointed out football didn't get invented in 1992 when the premiere league started.

Leicester need to be allowed to bask in their glory, it is well deserved.
However, in a couple of weeks domestic football will be forgotten about as the Euros begin and in July they all start back again.

Do Leicester have a better chance of winning the Premiership next year than Everton? , I would say not at all.
Are Leicester likely to finish above Everton in the league next season , I don't think so.
I think Leicester will have a very difficult time next season, they will have the midweek CL games and at the weekend they will be facing teams every weekend that want to beat the champions.

It is not a seesaw, a big club one minute, small the next, big after that etc.
The premiership win has given Leicester the opportunity to very quickly become a big club or at least a much bigger club over the next number of seasons, we will see how it turns out for them.

Are they bigger than Everton at the moment, if winning the Premiership is the yardstick then they are bigger than Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, City and all the others.
