Are Leicester now a bigger club than us??

Fair enough mate and I respect your view but what I find with foreign people is that the biggest clubs are:
  1. Liverpool
  2. Man Utd
  3. Chelsea
  4. Arsenal
  5. Man City
  6. Spurs
  7. Leicester
  8. Newcastle
  9. West Ham
  10. Aston Villa
  11. Everton
And then the rest. Most foreign people just ask "who are Everton and where are they from?"

Foreign people get dead excited over Leicester The Foxes now.

Hurts deep but we know where we stand like.

I suppose it depends on who you talk to. You can now take Villa off that list as well.

These things fluctuate. Next season Man City will be the biggest and bestest club in the world because of Pep. Little fangirls worlwide will update their facebook covers with pictures of him while cuddling in their new Man City blankets. All it really takes is one solid season where you beat a couple of the big boys, and you can find your stock rising by massive amounts somewhere overseas.

I'm fairly confident many people will learn just who we are next season.

Big in media terms just mean $

I don't believe there is any comparison between us and Leicester.
They played hard and won.
We sat on our hands despite the talents we have in our squad.

But two or three months ago nobody around the world knew who Leicester were. Everyone loves an underdog story though, and their achievement is incredible. Will be interesting to see that list in two or three years.

I hope so mate. I'm sick of Leicester fans laughing at me.

Regardless of how bad they do in the next few years. No football fan in the world will ever forget what Leicester have done this year.

Still can't get over wes Morgan captaining the premier league winners. Bravo.

Simple one to answer-NO!
Great achievement this season but nowhere near as big as us.
One league title, a big following in Thailand and six shirts in Newcastle doesn't make them a big club.
Are Blackburn Rovers bigger than us?

Fair point Chico but those new Leicester fans in Thailand are pretty fickle.

This time last season they would have been supporting Utd, Arsensl, Chelsea. If (I would say when) Leicester become average next season, the vast majority of those new fans will depart. They were all supporting someone else last season.

Blackburn won a premier league. They aren't a bigger club.

In my opinion, it won't be too long until Leicester and Southampton are back in the second tier of English Football. Both were in the third tier not too long ago. When that happens, this discussion will be redundant. They will be a club who has one league title against our nine.

We were here when they came, we will be here when they leave

I say this because today while shopping in the metro centre Newcastle I counted 6 kids in Leicester tops and no Everton tops in sight.

Now, before everyone gets angry and start giving me a history lesson I know in my life time I've seen Everton win more trophies than Leicester. But, if you look from the start of the Premiership we have won the FA cup while they have won the league and two league cups.

So they win the recent history and are now in the Champions league, something we haven't achieved in our history.

Turnover wise no doubt with winning the league and being in the Champions league next season they will surpass us in the financial stakes as well.

Fanwise is going to be a tough one but according to my older brother who lives in the far east he has commented on how big Leicester promote themselves ( club shop in Bangkok airport etc ) with them winning the league, they will have a new generation of supporters.

So, are they?
Obviously no

all depends how you define big...and we haven't been troubling the definition writers for some while.
If Leicester go on a 20yr trophy spree like united or the rs, maybe then.
