Some will never have the good character to hold their hands up and admit they were wrong.

A few month back I joined a spiritual forum and any rare instances of aggro are shot down and said troublemakers encouraged to apologise for the good of the community. Its a shame you dont see it happen more between fellow Blues.

I would like to know what exactly is wrong about what has been said (apart from the ridiculously childish name calling that goes on)

Benitez was absolutely dreadful, nobody knows where we would be if he were still here or had longer. We can heavily assume that it would have been very difficult to get out of the run we were on but we just don't know, it is all about opinions as he was rightly sacked.

Lampard, at the moment has a lot to prove, and we are very short of options in attack. We look stronger in defence without being near perfect, in the Leicester game especially there were a few panicked moments.

I would never apologise for not liking Benitez and believing that he was truly taking us down, I am also not going to apologise for being more positive about Lampard. For me he has earned another transfer window, just for his attitude. We are not creating enough chances but we are creating some good chances, there needs to be a more clinical edge to us. If we can get that edge over the break and into January then I see us being fine, but I am wary that we will not find that and we will be in trouble once again. It is a tight league, in the lower half, and a couple of wins would make the picture a lot brighter.

I don't believe we are far off, football is about margins and if the attitude is right with the players, which seems to be the case then, as mentioned, we just need to find that clinical edge to be a lot safer.

When he was sacked it was the right time, but the problem was we had fans against him from day one. Also look where we are now, Rafael was doing a better job then Frank currently is but Frank gets a pass for no reason.

Thing is across the whole pitch he has more options, look at Saturday, 5 perfectly viable subs, last season Rafael had games with a half full bench including youngsters nobody had ever heard of.
One if the reasons for this was the useless owner gave him 1.8m to spend, how is a manager supposed to work with that.

He might of but don't forget it was Frank that really got us in danger, it was Frank who put us having to win against Palace

Attitudes don't put points on the board

Problem is other clubs look far more likely to pick up those wins

Agree on the margins, we need to turn draws into wins

They all meet once a week, on Friday evenings, at the 12th Widnes Scout Group Hall, fill the place full of joss stick smoke, put a bit of Hakwind on, brew and urn of mushroom tea and pretend that they`re at Woodstock.

The only difference, being that, the participants aren`t young hippies, but fat Widnesians, covered in Widnes Rugby League Tattoos and scabby, diabetes ankles.
