Would be absolute lunacy to sell your best striker for 75m and not spend a huge chunk of that with a quality, ready-made replacement.
Pure lunacy.
It's the 23rd of July. No need to go mental.

I suspect our good friend @davek may have a point with our forward line as it currently stands. It's very pop gun.

Not at all. But you still need a proven quality striker surely in England if you have ambitions of challenging the top 4.That's true, but it was virtually guaranteed. I don't think Koeman likes to run everything through one striker, although Rom's ability was such that he would have been foolish to do anything else. We were always going to shift to a more balanced attack once he left. I'm sure pop-gun is meant to demean such a style, and I'm not trying to sell losing Rom as a positive, but I don't think spreading goals around is inherently bad.

What's your thoughts on Pop Tarts as a breakfast choice?Has anyone ever finished in the top 4 with one of these pop gun attacks?
Worried here.

I'd still prefer Benteke myself; but Palace I'm sure will be desperate to keep him, much like Swansea with Gylfi. Giroud seems more obtainable, just depends how much he prefers the London lifestyle.
Ok then. I'm convinced. We finished fourth with Marcus Bent leading the line.
I honestly do not understand the Benteke shouts.
