Drink on weekends only, probably too much as I drink a crate each night, suppose I justify it by telling myself I don’t drink in the week ?‍♂️

Probably drink 4 or 5 times a week, tends to only be a beer or two, maybe with some wine at the weekend.

Lockdown/having a baby probably changed my habits. I drink on more days but smaller amounts. Love having a beer or a wine when cooking a nice meal

If I didn't like the taste of beer and wine as much as I do, I wouldn't bother

Don't get to the pub as much these days, tends to be waiting for the train after work or seeing if we can get two in before my toddler plays up. If I see my mates, we tend to meet up in the afternoon and it ends around 6-8ish. CBA with the evening crowd

Kind of why I knocked the whole 'just at weekends' thing on the head, you end up just drinking more

I don't drink at home so over lockdown when the pubs closed I went off it. Soon developed chronic bouts of gout regularly in my foot for months. Doctor told me it was from my diet and drinking. Once the pubs reopened last year and I went back on the drink and takeaways iv never had the slightest symptoms of gout since

I was a heavy drinker. 6-8 pints a night during the week and open til close boozing on Saturday and Sunday's. A good mate died and I adjusted my lifestyle. I lost a lot of "friends" when I stopped drinking. No one wanted to catch up over dinner or go for a coffee. They weren't mates, just strangers brought together by a room selling alcohol.

stopped about 3 years ago when things were getting out of hand and hangovers were lasting 2/3 days.
wished i done it 10 years earlier, life is so much better once you get your head around it.
if anyone needs any help the book "this naked mind" by annie grace was a big help with the mental side of things!

I'm a weekend drinker and truth be told I batter it. Unbelievably I never get hangovers though, even after 3 day/night sessions or the annual lads holiday. I wish I did then maybe it would make me cut down on the bingeing.
