Argentina v Mexico

Rubbish stereotypes to be honest.

Mexico aren't exactly playing in the sun at the moment, it's winter in South Africa. And they've been one of the most impressive sides in the competition. And not every player is the same my friend, we all have different mentalities, Gerrardo Torrado burns in the sun for example and doesn't like playing in it.

Rafael Marquez is a complete footballer, both physically and technically. I'm a neutral and it's clear to see that Mexico are developing more talented players than the US. That's not to say it'll always be the case, but it is at the moment.

2nd match running where the games been ruined by awful ref an linesman, such a shame, i only said today how great the officals have been.

Not sure it matters, game over. I know he plays for City but I still love him.

I feel like if Mexico's keeper wasn't the tiniest man on the field he might have got a hand on it...

but probably not, that was a screamer

If you've watch them in cold weather you'll realize its not a stereotype. However more Mexicans are playing in Europe now so that might change. Sure Mexico develops good players but they develop alot of the same player. They are all slick passers, kind of quick and not very physical. One thing that doesn't help is dodgy Mexican refs carding every simulation in the Mexican league as well. Torres who plays for Pacucha and is one of their best players got a rude awakening in the WC and wasn't ready for physical play.

Rafael Marquez is one of the best CBs in the world going forward but he's awful in defense and the US made him look silly in 2002.

Did Mark Bright just say 'we're not playing at sea level here we're at hydrogen'?
