Pity about the offside goal. Ian Darke is still seething about it. Thought Tevez was taken out wayyyy too early.

Rubbish to be honest, every player is different, I'm sure there are players who struggle in cold conditions but there's no way all of them do. It's exactly what I said it is, rubbish sterotypes. Mexico isn't the only hot country in the World, and these Mexican players are impressing in colder conditions.

And what are the USA developing? Midfielders like Clarke, Bradley and Edu? You won't get far on the world stage with that, and I don't see many technical players balancing things out. Torres is the only one who springs to mind, and by all accounts he was developed in Mexico. I'd rather have players with the skillset personally, you atleast have the chance to toughen them up and help them adapt to new surroundings. On the other hand you can't polish a turd, players like Edu and Clarke will always play to a certain level.

Rafael Marquez is a good, adaptable player who is perfectly capable of mixing it and being physical. Torrardo is another one, hardly a fancy dan playmaker, he's physical and puts his foot in.

Altidore, Davies, Guzan, and Holden come to mind.

That's racist

And btw, Mexico don't play well in cold conditions. USA beat Mexico dos a cero in Columbus. It was really cold that day.

I've loved this flowing football here tonight.

The good news is that the next Copa America is July next year in Argentina.

Its not a stereotype against a country. In the NFL you have players from domes/warm weather cities going up north and freezing their behinds off. The Phoenix cardinals went to Boston in the snow got tanked 59-0 and went to the Super bowl that year alot of those players for Phoenix grew up in cold weather cities as well. Its a shock to the system when your in an enviroment you aren't used to. F--k I live in in MD (winter temp about 7 degrees C) and when I go to Pittsburgh (winter temp 0 to -9 degrees C) I'm freezing my ass off.

Vice Versa the US players aren't used to the altitude and the bad air in Mexico city. You don't see any Mexicans coughing up black blood like Wyalda did.

Maybe you see something in Mexico that I don't and maybe your right. As far as previous results go against both "A" teams it for all intensive purposes its been a total wash. We can't beat them in Mexico and they can't beat us in the States. The one neutral matchup was in the 2002 WC which we won and well only a couple players are left from both sides.

He has been in his last two games, no question about it. I expected though, Mexico have a good midfield and outnumber them in there. If they come up against a team like Spain or Brazil I can see them struggling, Mascherano won't be able to carry him defensively like he has during the games so far. Maradona should use Messi outwide...
