The more I think about this it seems like an absolute panic buy, the guy is injured again and will not be fit for a while. What we needed is a cover for right and left back and a couple of wingers. What we got instead was an injured striker .
Are you sure of thatFoot injury. Out till after October international break is the time frame.
Feels a bit desperate. But plenty of football played between November and the end of the season.

Ok so we haven’tPlease tell me we haven’t
Similar to my thoughts on this.I think the opposite
I don't dispute for a moment that we have needs in other positions, but we've known for a long while that Broja featured highly on our list of striking targets. As the window drew to a close and it became apparent that DCL was staying until January at least, this deal probably made more and more sense. We don't have an immediate need for him, but we will need to replace Dom and if this lad is not fit until mid October, that gives us a couple of months to bed him in before we potentially sell Dom in January. Add to that the fact that there is no loan fee involved, we aren't paying his wages until he's fit and we have a fee pre-agreed if he does well.
You can be as sceptical about his ability as you like, but I don't think it's a panic buy at all, I think it was an opportunistic move from us for a long term target because the circumstances suited us.
At least Broja will never get to play in BMD because it will never be builtI’m not surprised in the slightest Dave has nailed his colours to this sinking ship
Mystic Meg has nothing on you my friendI like to think of the Evertonians that will wake up excitedly in the morning to see if we pulled off any late magical signing and they find we've got Broja, then Bournemouth beat us.
Euromillions numbers please Bungs.I like to think of the Evertonians that will wake up excitedly in the morning to see if we pulled off any late magical signing and they find we've got Broja, then Bournemouth beat us.
Probably JanAnyone actually know how long he is out for and what the injury is?
How long do we think til he is Dyche fit?
No defender of Dyche at all,but I truly enjoyed our play for 85 minutes saturday!!!Are you sure of that
Because what I’ve watched this season ain’t football
The spark and class Tim and Ndiaye added was the reason there I think, those 2 don't know what passing back is. The trick is for Dyche now to build around them as any other manager would, I agree though, a cracking performance up until the Nighmare on Elm street. No defender of Dyche at all,but I truly enjoyed our play for 85 minutes saturday!!!
