I see Broja as insurance as I think DCL will go in January just to get some money for him.
The hope (I assume) is Broja gets fit, scores some goals in November and December and suddenly he's a viable option to lead the line for second half of the season.
The worst case scenario (which is more likely) is he's a complete non-entity like his Fulham loan when he wasn't even making the bench towards the end.
That happens and suddenly you're pretty much relying on Beto or Chermiti to do something.
