I see Broja as insurance as I think DCL will go in January just to get some money for him.

The hope (I assume) is Broja gets fit, scores some goals in November and December and suddenly he's a viable option to lead the line for second half of the season.

The worst case scenario (which is more likely) is he's a complete non-entity like his Fulham loan when he wasn't even making the bench towards the end.

That happens and suddenly you're pretty much relying on Beto or Chermiti to do something.

Not really. Financially it's a good deal. Can play up top either side in particular the right where we need pace. One thing I'll give Dyche he can condition players to be fit, obviously DCL.

Perhaps Chelsea are treating his injury as they’re paying his wages.

Players like Ndiaye, Lindstrom and soon Broja give us the potential to be a lot more dynamic than we have been. Think this lad will come good here and he'll pop up with some important goals.

I like that we have a few more players who can actually make something for themselves for the first time in a while now.

We seem to have got very favourable terms for this deal and Chelsea reportedly wanted DCL although on a knock down fee. Any chance that there is a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ that they can have DCL in January if Broja is fit?
