This will be followed up with the ‘back with the group’ stage, culminating in the longest stage of all, the ‘premier league fit’ stage. This is an indeterminate length of time, depending on whether Dyche’s other favourites are in the team (Branthwaite has further details on the complexity of this stage).

I keep forgetting Chermiti also. Suppose it's hard not to. One of them has never played for us, and the other is yet to score a goal for us (not a criticism.)
