What I meant without saying is 'I would rather have got somebody else in who could play right away rather than wait until mid November to make any impact'

Disagree because it was last minute (as another poster said) and Thelwell seems to have wanted Broja since Lampard was manager -- worked well with Ndiaye.

Also, its given Beto & DCL further experience in the team and on the pitch to be assessed. If another forward was signed then perhaps we wouldnt have seen how poor DCL is nor how much desire Beto has.

The one disappointment for me is Chermiti's injury. Ideal if we can ger Broja & Chermiti firing and offload the other 2 in January.

We do create chances though -- as seen with Beto the last couple of games and i believe DCL has been unfortunate with a couple as well.

I see your point but a better CF instills confidence in the players round him to play a different way. DCL gets balls lumped up to him for a reason. Beto is a similiar height to DCL but gets nothing in the air, he seems to get more to run on to.
