With all due respect I don’t think we can bank on him replacing anyone and I wouldn’t be looking to bring him back next season.

Why would you bring him back next season mate?

Just to punt it to next season as we are in danger now. If he comes as Mr Glass third choice next year while we bring in someone now who helps that's alright.

….i thought we didn’t have to pay anything for him until he was fit. He’s injured playing for Everton after being fit to play, I imagine we’re committed to his salary for the remainder of the season. I’d certainly not want him here on a permanent.

There’ll be lots of debate about this injury, it certainly looks serious but my immediate reaction was for the player, it’s a dreadful shame for the lad.

Seems a bad injury, looks really bad and he has no luck but this latest may be the end of any talk about him being this player who just needs some games to show his potential finally. The lads body just isn't up to playing top level professional sport sadly - gonna say he needs a mess sending league but in truth his injuries aren't coming from any intensity in okay his body is just amazingly fragile.

He’s had two serious injuries already in his short career. Today looked fairly innocuous too, hopping over a challenge and landing in a way that wasn’t obviously problematic. You’d have to think his body just isn’t up to the demands of premier league footy if he’s out for the rest of the season.
