2024/25 Armando Broja

He’s had two serious injuries already in his short career. Today looked fairly innocuous too, hopping over a challenge and landing in a way that wasn’t obviously problematic. You’d have to think his body just isn’t up to the demands of premier league footy if he’s out for the rest of the season.

….looked like his right Achilles but I’m not sure if it’s the same he’s struggled with before.

I’m sure we’ll find out soon but it was a risk signing him, even on those terms and it looks to have badly backfired.

Had oxygen and a leg brace, so would think it's a long term one. If the injury is more serious, we have to consider cancelling the loan.

I would bring in Dewsbury-Hall who Chelsea are offering out. Would add real creative spark we have missed all season.

Baines said he didn't go to hospital (which is where he was heading when stretchered off) so fingers crossed it's not as bad as first feared.

Psychologically it must be difficult when your a young player who seems to pick up a lot of injuries. Look at him against Bournemouth, kicked the ground but then before he went off was rubbing his back, his ribs and limping round and looking like he'll be out for a while then all of a sudden Dyche said he's fine and should be in the squad last night.

I'm not saying he's blagging it either as like you said his legs was put in a brace, but I'm just hoping if he hasn't gone to hospital then hopefully that was a precautionary thing

….a number of posters talking about ‘cancelling the loan’. Perhaps I’m missing some detail but I’m of a view that he’s been injured playing for Everton and we’re now contractually committed to paying his salary for the rest of the season. ‘Cancelling his loan’ isn’t an option.

Could be an expensive risk we took.

The registration window is open so we can unregister him from the squad. We might end up paying his wages but we can still free up space for another domestic loan deal.
