A complete mess. How on earth this has happened in 2023 is beyond me. He even met some of the players on Sunday at FF!

I’m honestly at a loss with it all. All media done, medical done, agreements all done and he was scheduled to report for training today. Didn’t turn up, and the next thing we know is his agent hasn’t sent off the registration form to the FA (both sides have to do it) and he’s in London. What a shambles.

My question is why didn’t the board ensure there was a legally binding agreement in place before Danjuma left Liverpool? Why take the risk that he could simply “not send his registration form to the FA”. Surely some sort of contract could and should have been signed. You claimed yourself that it was “completed”. It obviously wasn’t. We’ve been caught with our pants well and truly pulled down once again imo.

More important than actually getting the player it seems, it has become an embarrassment supporting Everton, never thought I'd say that and probably don't mean it just disgusted with my club and everything to do with it right now. What do you expect them to do, hold him prisoner until he signs the contract ?

He held all the cards. He had multiple offers, we clearly have a desperate need for reinforcements.

We don’t have any legal recourse if agreements were signed mate - I know that’s a slow burner and I wouldn’t want the player now anyway - I’d much rather confront the growing stereotype of us being a soft touch.
