Don't think Spurs or Conte understand that their troubles are not up front, if they put as much into the rest of their team, they might win something because they have a world class forward line. If you have genuine quality up front like they have and you still aren't winning stuff, I'd say maybe look at the rest of the team.

Son having a really poor season, Richarlison probably a bit too loose in possession for Conte, Bryan Gil not really adapted to the league, Lucas Moura a fascist little weirdo … not surprising at all that they’d be in for an attacker

Richarlison was a mad signing for them. I always thought he'd be off on loan somewhere either January or this coming summer and I still stand by that

You can only complete a deal if all parties want it to happen.

You ever tried buying/selling a house and had to deal with solicitors/the other party dicking around/dragging their feet ?

You can blame the club for a lot of things but a player swerving us to join a side in the CL isnt one of them really.
 
You've actually got to love this club haven't you. There's literally no other club out there which acts the way this place does.

In one season alone, we've managed not register a player in time and now, after agreeing personal terms conducing all the media stuff, actually forgot to get him to sign the important papers.

January is the worst market. To find a player of his quality on loan was a long shot, so to have him and cock it all up, it’s a killer. He would’ve got us points this season.

If Bobble’s mate is right and he was doing the club media etc, he’d surely have signed a contract with us by then?

The registration paperwork is different and I guess usually considered a formality once the contract with the club is formalised. Sounds like this could be a legal situation.
