See the thing is this, if the player has pulled out then you move on to the next and quickly too. Look at Brighton, a player leaves they have a ready made player in that position and then go out and buy another within the week that can also play in that position. You ever tried buying/selling a house and had to deal with solicitors/the other party dicking around/dragging their feet ?

You can blame the club for a lot of things but a player swerving us to join a side in the CL isnt one of them really.

I appreciate that about signing off on the agreement. The lad seemed to have started the process or medical , no reason to disbelieve that , on Thursday and frankly if that’s the case there is zero excuse for the necessary paperwork not being sighed almost a week later . The only reason he wouldn’t have signed is he’s waiting for a better offer so frankly if that was the case you present him with a deadline and move on . You know like you do when you’re completing deals or when you do yours so do you simply acquiesce to every demand the other party makes ?
