He had agreed to sign for Fat Frank, when we were a complete disaster of a club, we then sack FF.. he is now looking at a disaster of a club and Moshiri going on talksport talking wham, and Spurs come calling.
He has no loyalty to us, it was a loan, and they likely offered him more dough.
We survived by the skin of our teeth without a recognised striker while he sat on the bench at Spurs.
Imo if Frank had been kept on he would have still signed, whether or not he would've been enough to turn Frank's turdship around we'll never know.
But I'm glad Frank's no longer here and we're still in the PL.
He improves us in areas we are crying out for, on loan at a relative low outlay when we have next to no cashflow.
And leaves whatever pennies we have down the sofa on a Gnonto/Harrison/Summerville/Dembele to further improve our attack.

Must be a reason why he has to change so many clubs into his mid 20s if he really is talented enough to cut it in PL.

He has had 3 stints with PL clubs (us being the 3rd now) and he couldn't nail a place with Villareal.

Our history with dutch players is average (heitinga being only decent one I can recall).

I have a cheeky feeling he has an attitude problem or isn't willing to put the hard yards in. But lets hope he works out better than Maupay.
