Confirmed Signing Arnaut Danjuma

Good grief, we're on his back already, of course when Spurs came in for him he was going there. We had an awful manager, a side going nowhere, an ownership who didn't know if they were coming or going.what appeared to him a hostile crowd. Too right he went to Spurs, many if not all players would have
He knew all that before he agreed to sign.

If he signs I will support him because he is an Everton player but the way he backed out of the transfer in January still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It was a transfer we badly needed and his about turn at such a late stage left us scrambling to find someone else.... which we didn't do.

That decision by him may have relegated us. I hope he does really well for us because that benefits our club but he has quite some way to go before I think he fits well in the Everton jersey.

I get the feeling of being let down by him. But him being to blame for us nearly being relegated is a long stretch mate.

We are where we are because the club fails time and again to plan for the future properly, because it spends horrendously not because Danjuma didn't fancy it.

A side under construction? We have shipped a load of players out and brought in 38 year old Ashley Young.
He said " under construction " not rebuilt.
The first step was always getting unwanted players out of the club, there are still another two or three to go in Gomes(probably), Gbamin(definitely) and Alli(possibly/maybe).

At the same time we know Danjuma is due a medical and I think it is generally accepted that we are interested in Gnonto and others besides.
Last night we had interest in Iheanacho confirmed( I think) and the are plenty of other names mentioned as well but really we don't know if those links are real.

That does sound like under construction to me.

He completely wrecked his legacy by being a bell end and probably staying a year too long after that when he’d lost his pace/spark
Some of his goals were top class, dribbled goals against spurs, huge distance fk against Villa etc
Stoke one at home aswell, think ran from his own half and finished

When I say he was responsible for us being nearly relegated I mean that the margins at the bottom were so fine that one loan signing in January could have improved our team a lot and could have helped us earn just a few more points which would have eased our relegation fight.

I don't blame him for where we are as a team but simply pointing out the effect a good signing could have had during the second half of the season, specially in atttack where we were toothless.

The failure to bring anyone to help the team nearly cost us dear and that wasn't Danjuma's fault but the way he backed out of an agreed deal made a difficult window even more difficult for us.

Maybe Dyche does want him.

But it could be another case of the club buying players they have previously scouted because it is easier than getting in players the manager actually wants.

Literally gave us the V sign. Then proceeds to fail miserably at the club he choose instead of us but somehow the clowns running the place still feel it's right, with our financial woes, to go back for him and give him actual wages/fees. Incredible.. and people wonder why were such a laughing stock.

That's where the DoF model fails at us.
The manager shouldn't be choosing the players the DoF does and then he employs a manager to fit the squad.

Yeah! And we’re getting shut of Goodison which is only 131 years old and bringing in the 175 year old Bramley Moore Dock.
