Confirmed Signing Arnaut Danjuma

Must be a reason why he has to change so many clubs into his mid 20s if he really is talented enough to cut it in Pl
He has had 3 stints with PL clubs (us being the 3rd now) and he couldn't nail a place with Villareal.

Our history with dutch players is average (heitinga being only decent one I can recall).

I have a cheeky feeling he has an attitude problem or isn't willing to put the hard yards in. But lets hope he works out better than Maupay.
Don't forget the legend Van der meyde

This was his statement after agreeing to join us but then defecting to Spurs. Let's see whether his next one just changes Spurs to Everton

"It's amazing to sign for Spurs. I'm very delighted to be here," Danjuma told the club's in-house media. "As soon as Tottenham came in for me, it was a no-brainer.

"It's a massive club with a brilliant coach. The facilities are obviously unbelievable so for me, it's been very exciting to be part of this team.

"I'm really looking forward to working with the manager. He has so much experience and so for me it is a great opportunity to learn and be amongst the greats."

I wouldn’t read too much into player quotes either way tbh, they pretty much get spoon fed what to say by the clubs media team.
Can pretty much call it now what any of our signings will be saying:

“Historic club.”
“Difficult times”
“Help get us back to where we want to be”
“New stadium”
“Exciting future”

"Great Chairman"

Brilliant coach... who didn't know anything about the loan, and then sat you on the bench for half a season 😆

I remember Joe Cole admitting he was told to say history as often as possible when he signed for the RS

Will be like this for everton...

Having my bum cheeks felt by the chairman made me feel at home

Walking past the dofs office - stinking of booze and weed - made me understand how lucky I am

The twister game is much used as a training aid. I love it

Bring on the tranmere....whoops sorry toffees

What's changed now then?

A Full season under a manager who i do think has his limitations but at least knows exactly how he wants his team to perform.
As opposed to previously when we looked doomed at that stage, and the manager who wanted to bring you in wont be leaving before you've even walked onto the training ground.
Its not giant steps but i do think its a more settled atmosphere than before.
