....they don't all work out to be fair and the injury he incurred was both serious and long term. Saying that he is showing no signs of providing a useful contribution.

If he was a horse mate they would have taken him out back and shot him tbh

Agree with that but factor in Alcatraz and Robles and anyone would be entitled to question his undertanding of what he was coming into. Kone didn't get a rapturous press at Wigan (unlike Alcatraz) & maybe it's possible the injury stopped him from being found out sooner.

.....don't disagree. It reminded me a little of Kendalls first glut of signings when he first came. I always say a good judgement of managers is looking at who they have bought. RM has a mixed bag.

We need to get rid. It's unfortunate, but he's awful. Is there anyone we could replace him with that we've been linked with? The inter Milan player maybe?

Surely we can get an upgrade on Kone even for very cheap. He gives us absolutely nothing.

He should've easily buried that header yesterday.

Whether he stays or goes, I think we need to sign another striker, especially when it looks like Long is gone now

Getting a decent striker on the cheap won't be easy though

Maybe look at loaning someone from one of the top teams like we did originally with Lukaku?
