Ha, remember the hat-trick he scored against Leeds?

Very rare for a defender to score a hat trick like that.

Watson's hat trick:

Things to take from that video...

McFadden looked unplayable in his first two games for us, Hibbert going past his man with ease and the Gwladys Street looked far better celebrating goals back then.

.....don't disagree. It reminded me a little of Kendalls first glut of signings when he first came. I always say a good judgement of managers is looking at who they have bought. RM has a mixed bag.

Even Harry bought duff strikers.

Rod Belfitt and Bernie the Bolt spring to mind (I think it was Harry wot signed Bernie) :(

2:25 on that video - are my eyes deceiving me?! What a burst of pace and cross by Hibbo!

If he was a horse they'd have put a blanket over him and a slug in his bonce after that lame performance on Saturday.

He's utter bilge and has what little he had left in his locker was lost by his major injury. He's truly awful and the thought of having this lame waste of space as our only experienced cover for Lukaku is terrifying.

That's what I've been trying to say since before we even signed him.

"Oh but he ripped us apart when he played against us!" said the divvies who tried to convince themselves that scoring in a game where John Heitinga is man marking you isn't really that much of an achievement.

Somebody take him to the nearest dog's home, ffs.

Even giving him away for free would be excellent business.

At the moment he is:

a - taking up a space in the squad
b - a drain on resouces at around 30k a week
c - stunting the development of younger strikers who've proven more than him but aren't getting a chanc
d - depressing every fan every time he steps out onto the pitch

Just get rid ffs.

I think he's on like 50k a week...

Brutally honest but I don't even think he'd hit double figures in a championship side. The long term injury he suffered has pretty much finished him at the top level and at 32 this year we should be looking to move him on before the window closes.

Yes two woeful strikers Bernie the bolt is in the history books as the worst - Kone is going to beat him at this rate at least Bernie scored a few, and his comedy value was great his kit never fitted him!
