Arouna Kone

Not Kone's fault he's turbogash. You can however point the finger at the bloke that thought it wise to spend 6 million on him.

Absolute s**** today, totally unfit & lucky to stay on the pitch, would sooner see one of the young lads up front

£6m plus his wages what a waste

All the player's total transfers are about 29M?

....I thought he would offer more than he has. Disappointing that he doesn't appear to be playing with any real hunger. It's not his fault he's had injury problems but this is his time and he doesn't look like he can offer much cover to Lukaku.

Dont get me wrong, I never rated the joke anyway.

No. Me neither. I remember when he signed, me saying something along the lines that RM wouldnt lob £6M at a bad striker, and I am sure it was you that posted a wiki page about some dross he had signed who won the vote for Wigans worst ever signing or something.

But the point about his injuries is still valid.

Boselli or something that cost 6m

For us Kone is right up there with the worst strikers

I cried when he signed, hes quite bad, the prospect of him leading the line nearly made me jump off a cliff, thankfully Rom came and saved us, but I thought he would provide some decent back up, he didnt, he was terrible and then he picked up an injury that finished careers 10 years ago and still does for a large % and hes honestly a shadow of the quite bad player he was.

Sadly I cant see us being able to shift him out anywhere anytime soon either, nor, sadly, do I think Martinez will even think its an idea.

When he scored against Newcastle (?), it was a sharp, strikers finish, and I thought, "ace". No world beater, but a slotter. Now I havnt seen much of him, and he does have ability, but 2 years out pretty much, at his age, will only end one way.

If/when Bristol City go up into the championship, he would suit them down to the ground. Seriously.
