Is he your new 'go to guy' mate.

Wasn't it Lukaku earlier in the season.
So much wrong with this post. You are infested with a small time mentality, I can only assume? If I did criticise Lukaku, it would have been for his poor ability with regards holding the ball up, Yakubu (A player who gets nowhere near the respect that Lukaku currently does) Used to hold up the ball and switch the play fantastically (whilst I may add scoring more in his first season for us under 'hoofball Moyes' than Lukaku did last season) you are now picking me up op on a post using a 28 million pound striker who has scored 8PL goals this season and another who has scored 1 in his time with us.

Cheers for that

You really should let all posters know they can only criticise one player at a time

We definitely need a player of Kone's type, possessing a first touch, highly mobile and runs into space, just not Kone sadly. I think I have seen enough and needs to be sold in the summer. Don't dislike him in any way and wish it had worked for him and us.

Agreed.

I actually think if Lukaku's back against Burnley Martinez will keep him in and play a 4411 as he has recently. He's not an instinctive striker but he can draw a lot of attention to himself and I think Lukaku will enjoy that.

We cant afford him though. We need to get a decent striker in next season who can get amongst the goals himself.

Ian, you were at it frequently regarding lukaku, yet brushed aside the reasonings for his poor efforts.

Now he has scored a few and somewhat redeemed himself a little, you've moved onto others. It's all you do mate. You were amongst the 1st stating Martinez out back in September.

Nobody on this planet would have rejected £6m for Victor Anichebe.

A crime was committed that day, I still expect the West Midlands fraud squad to come calling. £6m for a bloke who looked puffed out running 10 yds and would miss two weeks out having cutting himself shaving.
