Arouna Kone

Wouldn't be too disappointed he didn't leave, he's actually less of a problem than a few of the duds that did actually leave.

Kone won't be here when we start again in August, no way is he getting a new contract so we only have him here for a few more months, no problem.

Niasse and Cleverley are more of a problem and we could well be stuck with them for a good while longer.

Watford have an obligation for buy him for a fixed fee if they stay up. Throw McGeady in there he will return.

I can't see that they wouldn't agree terms - the reported £40,000 a week wages he's on at the moment wouldn't be hard to match/better in the current climate. And the medical for a 6 month loan wouldn't be as stringent as for a longer term deal.

The cynic in me wonders if they strung him along to stop him going to a relegation rival.
