i don't get the shaming of people who said he was crap, because for more of his everton career, he's been more crap than good.

He was literally one of the worst strikers i've seen for Everton at a lot of points, but people are allowed to judge him on those performances because they are the ones he offered up.

Right now he's made him self useful at points this season, and the hat trick was fantastic all round performances, but he'll need a few more of those type of performances (not expecting hat tricks every week, but hopefully 10-13 goals this season) to think he's been a decent signing overall.

Hopefully Kone can keep it going throughout the season. If he can consistently help get the best out of Rom (and vice versa) then I think he'll be looked upon as a good signing.
