He was fine today I just feel with his knee problem sometimes, and option from the bench in the last 15 minutes is an option KM may be more effective closer to Lukarku - Kone is no winger but in the first half like them all looked world beaters!
He aso helped Baines out by coming back he looked tired to me after all that work.

I think it's been fairly well established that Lukaku and Kone enjoy playing alongside each other. I thought Kone was good like, we could hammer him all day for missing those one on ones but we missed a lot of chances. I do agree that Martinez might need to take him off after 70 minutes or so, he's had an extraordinary amount of game time for an old lad who has come back from an almost career ending injury.

I have grown towards him as I can see a very intelligent footballer in him - he used to get subbed over his knees - that's all I was trying to point out 2nd half was as weird as the Bournemouth performance!

why have him on the right wing aswell, lennon offers a lot more than kone does over there especially when the game opened up in the second half
