Not been there for a while but I don't think it's as easy as that anymore, and if they are open to bribery then the amounts they want aren't money you're going to find just like that.

I guess I just wanted a bit of moral support. I felt pretty grim in the pen today and some of the replies made me smile.

I was also hoping one of the mods would rise up as a human rights lawyer like in Bridget Jones and get me home. I still have hope.

Anyway I'm bailed til the 18th, gonna enjoy my potentially temporary freedom while I can.

Best of luck. I have zero faith in the judicial system here, nevermind somewhere corrupt. They've let you out which is good, so go hammer the door down on the consulate.

Going back only a few years but my brother lived there on and off for about 5 years. Bribery seemed to be quite a regular occurrence. But yeah how much and having that on you is unlikely
