Like you say, big bones broken so hopefully it shouldnt be hard to fix.

Busst - was only forced out the game due to post-op infections (MRSA).

Compared to ten years ago the pins and some of the techniques are better... and also some of the pins and other surgical tools.

I did work on this 10 years ago.

( People don't also realise that the amount have progress thats been made post Iraq and Afghanistan, as the injured brought back have advanced medical technology hugely.... )

He'll be fine. Give it 6-7 months and he'll be back.

Wenger just said about emergency surgery. Yes he will DEFO get that tonight.

As they have to as that type of break can damage blood vessels and to ensure he has best recovery its important to reset ASAP - and also to make sure he doesn't lose his foot.

He'll be getting operated on by 21:00 methinks, probably in London. They'll do the x-rays in the northwest then helicopter him to London.

I don't have a medical licence sorry.

Did some work on this years ago...

Now I do the old consultancy lark.

If you're in an urban area you're normally not more than 20 minutes from a hospital. So don't worry about it.

 if you're in the middle of scotland in the highlands.... then worry!

Rewound it and watched frame by frame. Can't see much but it doesn't appear to be a dirty play in the least of course it will made out to be one. It defo wasn't any 2 footed studs up Krykoikoas or Macherano special.

Here's what I can make of it. 50/50 ball. Both stretched for the ball. Looking sideways 1 frame has Ramsey's foot behind the ball while you see Shawcross's foot in front of the ball (Ramsey is coming from the side). Next frame Ramsey Rt toe pokes it ball is gone, Ramsey's foot is now where the ball pretty much was. Next frame looks like Scacross's studs are down, Ramsey's inside Rt foot/ankle gets stepped on w/ S's Left leg . Instead of falling backward on his side Ramsey's and Scacross's momentum takes him forward with foot pinned by Scacross's foot. So it could be ligament damage to his ankle and knee plus a fracture.

If Scacross would have gotten there .1 of a sec earlier or Ramsey .1 of a sec late no injury.

its pronounced hard on, not ha wahr den

Depends where your from. There's a school in Ohio called Hawarden, and that's exactly how they pronounced it.

And you can hardly take the piss out of our school name. Elfedd? Sounds like a school for pixies and the like.

pronounced el vid. No double d. Wasn't taking the P, just every english person, not from the area, can't say it properly!

Fair enough, but there are more difficult Welsh names to say. There's a reason why Mold is called Mold, it's easier to say then Y'Wyddgrug.
