i could pick faults with the manager and the tactics but i wont.
this is about the same players who have failed to perform for 3 managers this season.

Williams and schneiderlin.

they were the experienced players in the squad today and their leadership and example to the rest of the team was pathetic. they hid , they shirked, they didn't put in any effort at all. rather than motivate their team mates and grab the game by the scruff of the neck , the just pulled the attitude and effort of the team down to their level. an utter disgrace imo.

its been the same from both of them all season. drop the pair of them indefinitely and only use if there is no one else fit.
Absolutely agree. I can't understand how these guys keep playing. We've got other players in the squad who haven't featured at all, we've not given the likes of klaasen and Sandro a fair crack but there are players in our squad who seem to get an unlimited amount of chances. The performances have been disgraceful from our senior players this season, they don't lead, they don't set any kind of example to the new players and young lads we have but they still get picked. It's just bad. I would much rather we give our new players and young lads a run in the team than picking players like Williams, jags, schneiderlin who either can't do it anymore or aren't interested in doing it for us.

The cracks were there in the last game too. As soon as we conceded against Leicester we started to crumble.
BFS needs to take the majority of the blame for changing the team so much, getting the approach completely wrong and then waiting until we were 4 down to change it.
We were saved by the post a few times also

Arsenal haven't won the league in 14 years. It looks like they won't qualify for the champions league, for a second consecutive season either.Yet they still put a combined total of 10 goals, past us this season. How depressing, but we are where we are.And that's a hell of a long way off competing with the elite sides. It feels like a lifetime ago, when we smashed them at Goodison in that first season with Martinez.

I saw the suicide note aka Fat Sam's team election and knew that there was no chance.

As other posters have noted you cannot surrender the midfield to Arsenal. Playing Morgan guarantees that you get no go-forward play. Pack the midfield and park the bus by all means but that meant keeping a competitive midfield with lots of bodies. But no Sam packs the defense..

He invents a new defensive line-up with two poorish wing-backs and a rusty Managala and a limited Williams!!

No guile up-front. Play Gilfi or Rooney but play one of them please. Why spend loadsa money on Cenk and then don't play him but play Bolasie who is months away from match fitness!!

I think the team knew that it was a suicide mission and played accordingly with a lack of conviction and a lack of energy.

Sam is not doing his chances of getting the job full-time any good with weird team selections that no-one understands and leaves big money signings on the bench.

I was in the stadium today.
Pathetic display, especially the first half hour!

Davies was the best of the worst, him and Siggy should be a starter in this Everton team whenever they are fit to play.

Players like Stones and Lukaku left and the transfer budgets from those players were unfortunately poorly utilised..
this team still desperately needs players in their calibre.

Lots of work to do in the summer!!

flew back home to liverpool from school in toronto this week to witness this shambles of a performance. Going to the palace game on saturday as well. I never wish injuries on anyone but I genuinely hope schneiderlin suffers a season ending injury. I can't stand to see him in blue again. I'm begging fat clueless sam to understand he is the weakest link in our squad. He, Martina and williams are SHOCKING. Can't believe we loaned out lookman for bolasie. ahahahah. How do you make five changes following a solid win?

It happens. That lot beat us 4-0 in 70/71 when we were champions at the time and had a team infinitely superior to the current dregs.

Absolutely shocking....
I've been start following Everton since Cenk Tosun joined. Frankly, I didn't understand the reason for his decision leaving top club in Turkey and Champions league competition to join Toffees but saying that I guess playing PL is the dream for every football player. As a former international football player and coach, I can tell you that this team has doomed and managed awfully. The Big Sam is the only person solely responsible of this disastrous run.
About the team,
- All these recent transfers hasn't address the problems. The Toffees needs a urgent defensive midfielder in the middle, decent fullback and functioning leftback. The oppositions cruising midfield so easily in every single game that that puts defenders under immense pressure all the time. This team need Kante, Emrecan type of players immediately. I do not need to go into other problems which you all know.
- About Cenk Tosun, He is excatly what Everton needs especially after Walcott's arrival but Sam doesn't have the vision to see that.
I strongly recommend to every Everton fans to watch Cenk's videos again. We are talking about striker who scores against Iker Casillas from 30 meter. He is a quality striker and will make his contribution in up coming weeks.
I do not except any nonsense stating that he is coming from weaker league. you do not argue the quality of a player who scores again Porto, Monaco and Leipzig. How many football players in Everton squad at the moment has played in Champions league level and scores goals against those elite European teams.
Get rid of Sam

..I agree, it’s like he treated this game as a dead rubber and that’s against the integrity of this league (where points are hard to come by) and this club. I’ve been very supportive of what Allardyce has achieved but I think yesterday was indefensible.

Arsenal away was a line in the sand as far as my opinion of Sam Allardyce is concerned.
