The funny thing is macca, if Allardyce did manage to get us to a 7th/8th/9th place finish, then the board could easily see that as justification to let him see out the final year of his contract, so Allardyce being binned might be not as open and shut as we would like to think.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least Lou, the words incompetent, clueless, rudderless spring to mind when I think about those supposedly in charge so if we did finish top 10 I would say it's 50/50 they keep him.
I think how it will pan out is we will finish 14th so they have an excuse to sack him whilst he can then walk away saying he kept us up which was his remit.
