Arsenal, certainly over the last decade, are, as a team, a bit like some of our young players (Barkley, Lukaku Deulofeu). Almost unplayable at times but, as yet, too inconsistant to be real world beaters.

However, as I mentioned in an earlier post, Czech could make all the difference in that respect.

If our defence holds firm Arsenal's offensive style could suit us playing on the counter with Barkley breaking. If we try and out sideways pass Arsenal then we are in for a long evening.

I have a feeling we're gonna get bummed today regardless of what team we put out. In that regard I think we should at least have a go at them and have either Del/Kone or Del/Kev on the wings. With our back four and two holding CMs we really should be able to use four attackers.

You can almost guarantee Lennon as a nailed on starter though because he's good at defending and also rapid on the break so it all depends who's on the left really.

"If"we play like we did in the 1-1 a couple of years ago we are more than capable of coming away with a positive result,Kone up top with Lukaku too please Roberto,we need to be positive today,Del Boy,Mirallas and Barkley and hopefully at least a couple of them are in top form we can cause them problems,I'd also welcome Robles in nets as the other fella deserves dropping, whatever Robles shortcomings are I get the feeling TH feels he's indispensable so it could give him the kick up the pants he needs.

Superb preview that @chicoazul probably my favourite since last week. Talking of last week's preview, it was my Uncle in one of those pics so cheers for hooking me up with the link to show my mum and sisters ;)

Regarding today, can't see us getting anything tbh for the simple reason we turn up there once every half a century and try and put up some kind of performance. Well we've had our half decent performance 2 years ago so probably got another 48 years to wait.

If our top players are bang at it you never know, but I think we are just too soft and nice through the middle to have a chance.

3-1 my gut says to those shower of tits though in a perfect world Mertesacker will get sent off after 40 seconds and concede a pen and we will proceed to destroy them 8-0

COYB!!!

Great Chico, as usual, gave me a bit of a lift after last week, would love Bobby and the team to further raise my spirits, but
fear Martinez is not brave enough to try something different, so that will be that, nothing from this game.

the overwhelming opinion of GOT seems to continually be to play Kev and Del together for their superior attacking prowess (in the hope at least one will be having their 1 in 3 week performance when they are actually unplayable).

Do you think both of these players do enough when we don't have the ball in regards high pressing and tracking back? Something that Naismith, Kone and Lennon do very well?

You lessen your chance of scoring with less outwardly attacking players on the pitch, but you have to have possession and pressure in the right areas to increase the odds of them creating chances in the first place. Can we afford to play both at the same time?
