This is a write off game basically. They should win by a few, but the start of the season has been better than expected so there is less pressure on getting something than we would have thought in August.

The games after this one are the important ones. A point here would be an unexpected bonus.

i least i can watch this relaxed...nothing to lose!

Ozil blows hot and cold but is a genuine top European talent on the days he bothers to turn up, even if he does look like he should be sat inconspicuously on a branch and licking his own eyeballs from time to time.
Even by your high standards of rippage, that's a corker.
Bloody good side these and I'll be happy to come away with a point, but I do have a sneaky feeling we might gnarly them a bit and nick something.

We're gonna get smashed cause they spend more money than us and if we can keep the score down to less than 3 Martinez is a managerial genius doing a brilliant job at plucky little Everton.

The two possible changes today hinted by RM maybe the return of KM on the left , and Cleverly on the right with I suspect Lennon, and Naismith making way?

I'd be more than on with those 2 changes.

As much as I want Deulofeu and Mirallas at the same time. This probably isn't the game for that.

I think we'll play well on the counter, even have a few decent spells of possession but will get caught out and let in a sucker punch. We'll chase the game then and we'll probably let in another playing a stupidly high line and that'll be that. Brave effort with nothing to show for it. Phenomenal stuff.

Regarding Kev and Deulofeu, the manager sees them in training each day and knows them better than us. I wonder if, given their injury history that he doesn't trust that they'll stay healthy if their minutes increase.

This is the first game in a very long time I'm not going to stay up for.

It has a 2-0 loss written all over it.

(I might ghost post if we're winning though :D)
