True...but their 2nd was basic defending. Rodwell is getting the blame for that one apparantly but he's learning the trade. You cant just rely on Cahill to defend a corner, the team should be able to do that.

I agree about Vic and Beckford.

Defo a collective effort on defending tonight because we looked vulnerable on most set pieces. I'm not saying Cahill is our sole defender, i just think having him there creates a little more calmness and solidity. I havent seen the replay of the winner, so I don't know who was supposed to be picking the lad up. If it was Jack, so be it, learn from yr mistakes and move on.

I see you're point, but its was a soft floaty chip that just caught the defence/midfield out. If it was a shot from that area that went in, then yeah. But I cant see a big thing that the midfield did wrong on the 1st goal...apart from not win the ball.

If Jack hadnt touched the ball, would Arshavin have been offside?

But Arteta went AWOL again today IMO.

Started the game very well, but like a couple of players, the game passed him by a little in the second half. Its is amazing to me how fans reflect on players negativity and highlight a player when said player happens to make 75g per-week. Not sticking up for Mikey, I'm Just saying.

Oh yeah, what on earth was that Jags sub about?

And bringing off Coleman -- our only player with pace -- when we badly needed a goal?

Erm... anyone?

Erm... what?

Parkendmaster's right in every way there, mate. You're in denial/on crack/Bill Kenwright/all 3.

were quick on that weren´t you ? Well edited, the answer was changed and , far more reasonable . and No to the crack and denail and Kenright .I´m defending my team .Who I thought over all didn´t do that badly . Knee jerkers are us on here the negative vibe is overwhelming feel like I´m on RS site sometimes .

Just saw someone said that Rodwell was to blame for the second goal?, didn't see who was supposed to be marking the goalscorer, but if it was Rodwell then he hasn't had a great night, Fellani was telling him to get goal side and defend properly in the passage leading up to the first goal, he didn't, they scored. To be honest I have concerns about Rodwell and arteta allowing people to get in behind them. Fellani was awesome tonight, and I think he's going to be a real leader.

Dunno mate, Moyes pulled that one from his a-hole. Surely, Beckford should of gone up front with Saha while Coleman should of remained on, behind Anichebe. Besides, Moyes' substitutions were made too late for mine.

Alright Al', how was the game from your view? Did you get a good Internet channel?

I thought we did okay, bit gutted though..

Didn't catch all of it dude, not great Ebepton viewing. A classic tale of 2 halves huh? What did you make of it?

If we were 2 nil down and got one back, it would have somehow been easier to take.....weirdly. Just felt we could have taken a point at the very least after the first half

Moyes never knows how to stay 1-0 up, especially against arsenal.....you would have thought he would have learnt by now...

...you either keep it the way it is, and make like for like subs, go for a second and play 4-4-2, or go defensive, either would have been fine...

But he makes an early sub (the one time he didn't need to), brought off one of our beat attacking outlets - even though he was average, to play a small centre mid on the left where I dont think ive ever seen him have a good game.

What a stupid decision. And anichebe over beckford? Coleman off? Joke.

As for the game, played well first half, second was bad, feel sorry for rodwell but both goals where sadly his fault imo :/ maybe not so much the first..that was bad luck.

Credit to saha, he looked hungry for the ball tonight

Hmmm. Take a look at the last 5 minutes of the first half mate. We did a bit of winding down of the clock ourselves.

Bottom line: we weren't bold enough to get the win from a good position.

I cannot argue with that statement, tbh. I think that is a half-decent shout as to why our season is the way it is at the moment. From coach-to-players, are we bold enough to grab the game by the balls and punish teams from a winning position? Perhaps we (fans-coach-players) don't have the confidence to believe we are? That said, I don't know how many winning positions we have been in this season to be fair.
