if ever a half showed the gap difference between us and the top 4, that was it. our play in the final 3rd was utterly abysmal bar that magical cross form barkley. always making the wrong decisions/passes. we seriously need that player who can slip the players in the right positions in.

we just haven't coped with arsenal's attackers, they've run rings around us, but we're still there at 1-1. bad bit of luck with mccarthy's luck to kick things off, but we're getting chances and definitely grew into it more after the goal. it's definitely there for the taking, but we need to be clinical like we've seen against us in the last few games vs liverpool, spurs and chelsea.

I'd be confident if we didn't have Joel in goal. Good shot stopper but handling + commanding of his area is not good enough.

We are still in with a shout but I am worried at the amount of space afforded to Arsenal. That Ox Chamberlain is all over the place, Arteta and Corzola are playing well yet we are still in with a shout. Barkley is looking more his normal brillant self.

Pienaar has been terrible, not only is his decision making shocking, he can't make a simple pass. Joel gives me a heart attack everytime the ball is in our box.

Arsenal looked more threatening but we had some decent chances, 1-1 is about right. Now let's get the winner.

I think Carloza needs subbed to save him for the CL.

Our right side is dtruggling against Gibbs and who ever comes over our right side. Mirralas doesnt defend enough ,. Also Barry is totally struggling. Bring in Osman

Also, honestly I think Robles has the potential to be a great goalkeeper for us in the future, though I feel like he might be feeling the pressure and thus creating nerves in him here more than at Wigan... Obviously. Either way, stay in form Robles and make some big saves for us in the second half if we need to call on you, please!

And Lukaku, should've passed it to Mirallas! Maybe he remembered the swansea game where Mirallas chose not to pass to Lukaku...

Our players need to check their stud length, too many slips. The pitch was being watered before KO - given the wettest winter since records began this was something we should have allowed for in stud choice.

Thank God we are still in it but defence, esp Joel, is frightening the life out of me.

Glad we are level. We have been very average today, they have been much better than the league game. We can still get something out of the game if we up our game and Joel could catch the ball.

First 30 mins we were all over the place, and backing off, getting overrun down both flanks. Since then we've settled and looked much better. Barkley and Mirallas have the winning of this game between them....very, very finely balanced this now after being dominated for 30 mins.
