would feel alot better with howard in the net tbh. might be american bias but feel more secure with him. commands his box better i think

robles commands it better imo, definitely the 6 yard box, he just has that spanish young goalkeeper mysterious attribute of trying to punch it every time. when he's previously played he's usually been assured enough to catch a few, but yeah, very very nervous.

We all knew that Joel is a very shaky keeper so I'm disappointed he got picked tbh. Most important game of the season should always have Howard.
That said, this is winnable. Let's hope it's still 1-1 at 70 minutes and hopefully deulofeu can run riot. Geads too hopefully.

Joel is 6 ft 4 or 5 and he can't deal with crosses.

It's crazy isn't it? I think that RM ought to use a sub now and bring Howard on for the second half. The defence just looks too damn nervous in front of Joel. Howard on now and we still have two subs to bring the likes of Deulofeu or McGeady on later if we need an attacking boost.

if ever a half showed the gap difference between us and the top 4, that was it. our play in the final 3rd was utterly abysmal bar that magical cross form barkley. always making the wrong decisions/passes. we seriously need that player who can slip the players in the right positions in.

we just haven't coped with arsenal's attackers, they've run rings around us, but we're still there at 1-1. bad bit of luck with mccarthy's luck to kick things off, but we're getting chances and definitely grew into it more after the goal. it's definitely there for the taking, but we need to be clinical like we've seen against us in the last few games vs liverpool, spurs and chelsea.

Am i missing all these clear cut chances arsenal have had mate, slip aside theyve been limited to punts in the box and outside the box stuff, weve had 2 very good chances inside?

Pienaar has been terrible, not only is his decision making shocking, he can't make a simple pass. Joel gives me a heart attack everytime the ball is in our box.

Arsenal looked more threatening but we had some decent chances, 1-1 is about right. Now let's get the winner.

Yeah, I'm coming to the conclusion he's average a lot more than he's great. Should've leveled early from that great cross of Kevin's but otherwise has hurt the attack more than helped it. McCarthy, Barry & Pienaar aren't doing enough.

So we completely lacked that moment of real quality, except for the time we produced that moment of real quality?

We need to create chances.
When we go forward we get nervous and always look for the ball back its like 10 ray wilkins out there.
Lucky to be level to be honest but on the plus side Barkley looking superb as is barry and stones.
Coleman needs to wake up a bit its ours if we can have some efforts on goal

i'd bring on del for pienaar as well, he gets in really good positions, but he's ruining it all with poor passes/slow play. mirallas hasn't been great, but he is dangerous, he has that bit of class that can win a game like this, pienaar doesn't have that.
