Was anyone really mystified or confused by how the "floating" statues stay up?

'Theft at the British Museum'. Only a half hour show, and no great pace to it. But fascinating in it's way. Someone's were pilfering antiquities on the sly from the museums extensive historic back catalogue, but they didn't factor in one man. The Danish professor with the photographic memory. Because of his superhuman brain he was able to recognise certain pieces of valuable art turning up on ebay and costing only a few quid and it happened enough for him to report it. He's then spent his time tracking down these thefts/frauds and returning items to their rightful*homeowner.
His name is Ittai Gradel. Interesting chap. Very much white collar crime. Occurred to me it was like Scooby do in reverse, "And we would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for the meddling of the trained up professor of ancient gemstones with the photographic memory that was buying and selling this stuff in his spare time".
Oh to have this talent.
