Here's his father, as painted by Jacques-Louis David in 1812 .

It shows French Emperor Napoleon I in uniform in his study at the Tuileries Palace. It includes Napoleon's biggest kept secret as well.

Now you know why he always kept his hand under his coat. 😜

What do people make of this celebrity art phenomenon?

Bob Dylan, Billy Connolly, and Johnny Depp, all spring to mind.

I am personally not impressed.

It's basically a very expenses way of getting their autograph, and that's probably been done on some machine, me thinks.

I agree with you mate.

I looked at some of Johnny Depp's stuff... $15k for one painting.
And I can honestly say, a first year fine art student could do a better job.

If it was done on a machine, it would have looked better. 🤣
Stick to what you know, otherwise it looks like a quick cash-grab.

If Johnny wants to paint pictures, then by all means, he should do so!
But he should keep it to himself.

In contrast, Andy Warhol made a couple of films in the 60's.
One was 15 hours of footage outside an apartment building, which is largely unwatchable, but he realised it to the public because he thought it was 'profound'.

Another one was close-ups of facial expressions of blokes while they were getting their knob's slobbed. Also, supposedly 'artistic' but as you can imagine, was shunned by the general public.

Stick to what you know! 🤷‍♂️

All good C.

That sucks mate!
But it could be a blessing in disguise...

Read a book, or be like Johnny Depp and express your emotions on a giant canvas! 😜
You never know C... You could be the next Pablo Picasso, and it'll sell for a mint.
