I've always thought Mosh's grand plan was to keep us in a respectable Premier League position (top 10) while we get our new stadium built, then flog us to the highest bidder.

If that's the case, then we won't be taking any risks on unproven managers, and will go safe with the likes of Silva.

If I'm wrong, and he actually wants us to take the next step, stadium or not, under his tenure, then it's up in the air.

Arteta is abit of a risk. Silva doesnt really do it for me but i would back either if given the job. Fans would give arteta a bit of time.

Yes, I agree. But I wouldn't expect a Silva, Dyche or Howe to break us in to the top 6 either. I know we won't go for Arteta, but it would at least be exciting and something very different.

Arteta smashed his coaching badges and was wanted by several top clubs as a coach. He’s being working with Pep for past two seasons. He knows the club inside out. I’d go for him ahead of Silva every day of the week.

The only way Silva ‘makes it’, is if he flukes it, he has absolutely no pedigree of success, Arteta I can understand taking a chance on because that’s how managers get broken.

The deal fell through because the bank wanted a certain amount, with the payment to Arteta because he hadn’t asked for a transfer it wasn’t enough. Arteta put in a transfer request so the club and therefore the bank got the full amount from Arsenal. Have you been brainwashed by Kenwright?!
