Arteta

It always seemed clear to me that Emery wasn’t the problem. Heck, Wenger wasn’t the problem, but that didn’t stop him getting slated.

Fact is, fans cannot accept that there can only be one or two top teams at a time. It takes time for a manager to affect change.

Hell, Arteta looked like a smart appointment after the FA Cup and Shield wins. They need to wind their necks in and give him some time to fix things.

Meanwhile, the guy Arteta replaced...

Think it was a language issue when he was here. “Good Ebening”...he became comical almost. Having just typed that I googled the term, and this came up:

Appears the trolling affected him. Also mentions his command of English being a problem. When a manager tries to put his views across but can’t communicate very well, I can’t see how he can be as good as an environment where he can (in Emery’s case Spain). Fabio Capello was no better than a Sam Allardyce would have been for England (actually think big Sam would have done better), his communication was shocking. It wasn’t the Fabio Capello of AC Milan England hired.

Regards Arteta, despite my (deliberately crappy) username I think he lacks the authority to be a quality manager. He binned Ozil, but that looks like a token effort to show who’s boss (also the worse Arsenal get the more ridiculous it looks). He always comes across as being a very pleasant individual, a guy that is well liked, but one who players would walk all over. He also doesn’t sound like someone who would inspire. Just can’t see him raising his voice or rallying the troops.

When a team is going well the coach doesn’t have to do that much as they just have to keep things ticking over, it’s when a team starts losing that their leadership is really tested and Arsenal are in free fall.

See Tuchel been fired .. can see it coming can’t you Mikel?
Met Mikel and his lovely wife a while ago whilst he was still at city, and he said we would always be his first love in England, but I was at said game, we treated him with respect, he did the opposite, at the end of the day he was decent for us and we sold at the right time otherwise we were goin under

Bielsa seems to be managing ok and he can’t even say “Good Ebening”
