I would guess the average length of time a manager stays in charge of premier league club is only about 2 years so if one lasts 3 years he will have done ok at some stage.

Tuchel is the new Mourinho. He will win you silverware, and he will wear out his welcome within three years.
He didn't respond well to being managed by the board of directors at Dortmund. Sometimes a great manager needs a few clubs to get it right. Like Clough did eventually at Forest.

Won the league at Derby didnt he?

Get your point though; sometimes clubs/managers just work.

....impressed with many of the Arsenal youngsters when we played them recently. It’s always difficult when successful long-term managers like Wenger & SAF leave but I can see Arteta doing a fine job at Arsenal.

it’s a funny old season, I had a little e/w interest @ 500-1 for the PL last night.

Said it last night but Arsenal started better points wise so far lol

Arsenal this season= won 7, drew 2, lost 8,scored 20/con 19 = 23 points from 17 games & 11th place,,

Last season Arsenal won 5, drew 7, lost 5, scored 24/con 27 = 22 points from 17 games & 10th place

Davek would love this stat. Being lower in the league but with more points.

On the face of it he seems to have turned things around...right behind us (though we have 3 games in hand).

However, if you look at their fixtures from now till end of Feb they have some really tough games.
