Suits you have pointed out faults that no one is denying But you still have not stated where the £10 million is coming from its just not viable the extra revenue that it would make is not enough to warrant the amount of debt and interest payments the club would have to find honest mate I would have have helped the club move to the Kings dock and if a good deal was struck for Kirkby or almost anywhere I would do the same but up to now no one has shown me where this move can make that amount the Kirkby council restrictions only making it more unlikely every one assumes that if you dont want Kirkby its a boarder line thing it is not to me its more important that the future of our club is protected if we go to Kirkby by the time its finished I will not have much more games to go to as my health is getting worse so its not a personal option I would and do go all over the country and Europe although thats out the question now so moving the small distance to kirkby is not a deterrent it is purely on the financial claims that are not only misleading but clearly wrong .Wyness waxed lyrical first it was free until the last claim is £78million and Everton being responsible for the overspend now I dont know your experiance in this but I have never known one to come in on budget yes you can insured against it but in the current financial climate if we found some one willing the cost to the club would be enormous and when you also consider that the Liverpool council are being difficult over the selling of Bellfield as well sorry mate it just will not happen the money I mean the move is in the lap of the gods even the yanks our struggling across the park with a lot more cash than we have.Could you explain where the £10 million was under played I am curious as to how you come to this conclusion as guys that want the move up to now have accepted that that amount was at best at the top of the scale in that the ground was full and the use of the facilities were used to the maximum this of course was before Kirkby imposed restrictions
its down to arses on seats. its being being able to flog the maximum amount of food and ale. its at least 10 times the corporate cash we get now. its stadium naming rights. its associated business beyond match days.
now - average 35k. fill a 50k stadium... its almost 50% again.
the belief was always that ''if we build it, they will come''. but the game is beyond the average fan, we desperately require the structure to allow corporate types the opportunity to pay for some top match day hospitality.
consider - arsenal make more from the corporate side now than they do from the average fan in the rest of the stadium.
i cant paint the picture any clearer.
goodison park is strangling everton football club, and the longer we continue to tread water, the more asphyxiated the club en masse gets.
