Definitely. Segundo Castillo?

Since when do we sign players who no one has heard of?

If he turns out any good its a fluke. Moyes didnt want to sign him, if he did, he would have done months ago.

[Poor language removed] me this is more like it. [Poor language removed] stupid wanky board, Moyes is a **** why didnt he sign Shearer when he was available- he would got us a few. I cannot believe we werent in for Henry when he left- how pathetic.

What we should have done this season:

M'Bia- £18m
Moutinho- £20m
Wagner Love- £18m
Wright- Phillips- £10m

Messi on loan
Cech on loan

Done.

...and some section of the support would STILL be moaning. :@

Every time I see this thread I read 'ashamed' as Asha-med and wonder what position he plays for Egypt.

Castillo is hardly 'unknown', he played in the last WC.
Arteta, Pienar and Yobo were all relative unknowns when we signed them, hence came cheap, and are now worth considerably more.
If the club's progress over the past six years tells us anything it is that simply paying a lot of money for players does not guarantee success, any more than buying up cheapo makeweights like Marcus Bent and Kevin Kilbane guarantees failure.

we were all warned by moyes that this was what to expect. now its happening it is hard. these players were never on the original radar and are last minute panic buys. any1 who thinks different lives in cuckoo land.

it is a fekin disgrace. but i still wouldnt have any other manager at the helm!!!!!

sack the board!!!

Straight out of the horses mouth. Davey said he let us down. He knew full well these players thats being welcomed in at the moment are squad additions and hopefully like Obinna courtesy form Jose(he must have a soft spot for Davey) perhaps the best addition of the lot. We have had money all along here hoping we put it to good use next year. So not grumbling like many just a realist thats all. You have to make do with what you have and not pay funny money to people like SWP and other fat wage packet players. Still proud of what we have. We will have to come together.

Lets Huddle.(y)

He's one of them spiritualists isnt he. Aswell as a [Poor language removed] ex England manager like.

Why does everything have to happen overnight the key word here is gradual progress and im not talking about the team here either. I can remember Sean Davis and many other mid range players not praticularly wanting to sign for Everton in Moyesys reign. The club learned how to adapt and negotiate deals in that mid range market. Seasons aftet that we went amd struggled for signings like the Yak and eventually got them, now we are at the top of the food change and we are learnignto opperate in the highest market of world football- this is a learning process not only for the Club but also the manger both have earned trust and respect based on showing in other seasons.

I repeat gradual progress- the transfer window isnt shut yet and we havnt spent a penny yet!

BANG ON! Good post.

Whatever happens I am sure we will get one of our main targets come Monday.

I hate Everton.

*throws season ticket at Kenwrong.

Seriously, everybody should just relax until Monday. If we're still looking thin on the ground by then, then it is the time to go nuts, but we have plenty of time left. (y)
