Jags went ballistic on both the referee and physio. Ironically, I think the physio's comments were the only thing that prevented Mirallas from seeing red.

The only argument against this that has any validity is the STCC regs but if we plan to use our increased wages spending power on Bolasie, Williams and Kone (who I doubt would add more than the permissible 7M anyway) then that seems like a false economy. Unless, of course, we need to sell to buy.

You'd keep a player that clearly wanted out? He definitely wanted to go and would've forced the issue. Same if Lukaku leaves. I'd rather have players who want to be here and a team ethnic than players sulking and affecting spirit. Williams will be a hit. I'm not sure about Bolasie though. That to me is way too much. If they take Niasse though I'm fine with it!

We live a couple of miles outside Chorley mate. There are quite a few Blues in the area so there's normally someone to natter to about footie and there's the odd Burnley fan around as well. I quite like the Turf so, in a vague attempt to stay on topic, it'll be nice to see Ashley play there in the Royal Blue !

Happy with the Williams signing (assuming it happens) but would hope he'd get longer than the two year contract SSN keep saying he's signing.

Seems very short that for a £12m player. He'll be demanding a double your money contract if he has a good first season.

Three years with an option for us to extend it by a year would surely make more sense.
