Seen it now again, but I'm not feeling the people saying Robles was off balance. To me it looks like Joel makes the right movement as he is moving towards the ball.

Anyway, IF Williams wasn't in the way, he'd seen it and probably saved it, but this isn't the case. So had it not hit Williams arms I doubt Joel would have reacted in time, so for that I thought it would have gone in, but in my eyes Joel is not off balance.

That was his best performance for us by a mile. Without him and Jags, that was a demolition job for United.

I'm not going to criticise him for an action that could have won us the game instead of just a point. We had to win tonight to keep any chance of top 4/5 alive, and that shot had Joel beat - he hadn't even leaned towards the shot.

I'm still annoyed at him over Coleman, but I'm not going to be unfair and have a go at him for this.

I don't agree. Cost us 2 points. And it's nights like this that leave months of the mental fragility that burdens us.

You're disagreeing with facts though Tim. Like I literally described exactly what happened.

I don't disagree that it cost us two points, but I'm not blaming him. Crap happens. We were sat too deep because we hadn't retained the ball up top for the final minute. It cost us.

Joel was NOT rooted. He was moving towards the corner and then stopped when he saw Williams attempting a block.

It doesn't matter anyway. Williams' hand-ball was a sickener but nobody is asking the question (as I'm certain they would be if it had happened at the other end), does it actually qualify as intentional handball. He's attempting to head it and makes a pigs ear of it and where else can his arm be? The ref even took ages to think about it and then caved to the pressure. Can't complain really tho, we had our fair share of luck overall.

Have I missed something, what did he do with regards Coleman to upset you ?

That's the way I saw it too. Williams was absolutely immense tonight, blotted the copybook with a momentary rush of blood to the head. Was fuming at the time but, now I've cooled down I can't really hold it against him.

Robles had this covered you can see by the replays. Williams was just being lazy and lacked awareness of the keeper

If I'm being harsh I don't know why he didn't use his head rather than arm but his reaction when he went off he looked like he didn't care to me. Not the loud hard hitting solid defender he used to be
